Experience

Sarah began her professional career as a museum educator, including a stint as an exhibit writer and designer. She moved to Colorado to earn her graduate degree, where Colorado's landscape also taught her to love rock climbing, though she remains just an enthusiastic amateur. Following her love of uncovering the surprising sides of history, music, and culture, Sarah turned to writing. She's been a contributor at Grunge since 2020.

Sarah has a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of South Florida and a master's degree in anthropology and museum studies from the University of Denver.
