Experience
George has more than a decade of experience writing about science. At NASA, George wrote about research on changes to ice in Greenland and Antarctica. As a freelance writer, George has written articles about a variety of scientific topics for Nature Publishing, Rice University, Texas Sea Grant, INFORM magazine, and the American Chemical Society; worked on a white paper on regenerative medicine research for the International Space Station National Laboratory; and edited technology books for No Starch Press.
Education
George has a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in geology and a master's degree in science and technology journalism from Texas A&M University.
